Yoga for Special Needs Children

This program has been tailored to the special needs child by highly trained teachers.  Yoga offered by a Yoga 10supportive, loving and professional staff offers each child the opportunity to grow to his highest potential.  Yoga assists the ability to focus and concentrate and helps improve both fine and gross motor skills.  Yoga also contributes to improved communication and an increased desire to build responsive and interactive relationships.

This innovative program benefits both the child and the entire family.  Occasionally, the children’s parents and siblings are invited to attend the classes (depending on the needs of the child).  The amazing changes in confidence, strength and self-esteem create positive changes in the child and the whole family!

These classes are offered at our Studio as well as at various outside locations such as schools, recreation centers, camps and hospitals. (links to photo album with credits and website links here)
